My Stay in Rapu-Rapu

"I had fun". Whenever someone ask me about my stay in Rapu-Rapu Albay. this was the first thing I've always say...It was the second time I've travel on boat, the first time was when we had an eco-camp in Prieto Diaz Sorsogon but unlike the long trip to Rapu-Rapu. It takes 3 hours of travel. the boarding experience was relaxing. I could not hardly sleep because of the captivating view of the places we've seen along the way collaborated by the good weather condition.The long trip was worth waiting because of the inspiring view of the place and some undisturbed parts of the island. that made me feel "wow". It's the perfect place to escape from the stressful life in the city.After the scenic trip, the private cars of the company pick us up at the wharf. It was like an adventure-pack ride up in the mountain (just because of the road) : )When we arrived, Sir Totep welcomed us. he introduced us to some of the personels in the company. Afterwards we went through the mess hall to ate our lunch.After that sumptous lunch, we proceed to the conference room . Employees of the company from different departments presented to us a presentaton of the mining company, the processing plant, the role of ICE and SHER and the safety rules and regilations in the company before going to the site. After that, we put on required shoes,safety helmets and glasses.We are accompanied by one of their personel to the site. We went through the processing plant, open pit and dump site. after that tireful visit in the site, we take a rest to our rooms. It's like we are in a vacation grande, air-conditioned rooms, clean bathrooms, nice nad comfy beds. We spare time in the veranda and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. It's tranquil atmosphere that will make you relaxed after a long and stressful day.We had dinner with Ka Rene, Sir Totep and the other employees in the company. After dinner, we had a meeting with them and the rest of the employees at the veranda. We tackled about our visit on the site, the in-company training Legazpi city and Rapu-Rapu based and our expectations in the company.After that meeting, we had to get some rest for tomorrow we have to go back early in Legazpi City.My friends and I sleep together in one room. In a way, it's our time to have a long chat together because it's been a long time since we had a break and be together. We talked about our day we spent in the site and girl talk stuffs.It's been a tireful day but I enjoyed it. I wish I could stay for longer..Behind the controversies in Rapu-Rapu, is a captivating and precious land...
